See my other post, but if you don't want to crimp another connector onto
one of the existing Tube cables, it's possible to get a 40-way test
connector which is, in effect, a T-piece and fits the Tube socket. The
ones I've seen have one set of pins in line with a set of female
contacts, and another set of pins at right angles to the first. You can
thus plug two devices onto the test connector and plug the test
connector into the Beeb's Tube socket. They're not cheap. The ones I
have came from RS Components, and the 40-way one is listed as catalogue
number 468-406 at a price of ?20.39 + VAT! You still need a way to
power the two devices separately, preferably in such a way that they
can't both be powered up at the same time.
