Well it's not the getting of the indivdual files that is my problem.

You are right, I could do as you say, or use the A5000, !DFSReader and 
the 5.25" drive that is attached to the A5000. What I am looking to do 
though is to create single replica images of the disks ala, FCFS, 
!DImager, !DiskImage etc but obviously for DFS disks.

I did see mention by a 'Michael McConnell' that he had modified 
DFSReader to create images but I've been unable to track the modified 
program(dfsimg.bas) down.
