Subject: Weird places that BBC micros could be found

As others have said, there are plenty of 1980s Doctor Who episodes
using Beeb displays, especially in the new TARDIS console which was
introduced in November 1983. In one of the Colin Baker ones, there
is a listing on a screen with the word RUN typed in at the BASIC prompt,
ready for the Doctor to come in and press a key to start it off.

The Beeb's start-up sound is used as an intercom buzzer sound effect
in "The Five Doctors".

Best wishes,

Ian

Apparently an Olivetti version of the Master Compact (Prodest 128) can
be seen in 'Treasure Island in Outer Space/Space Island' movie.

And if my internet searches prove me correct a monitor with BBC Basic
can be seen in a Doctor Who episode...but I can't find the link :(
