Thanks for all the responses and to Michael for going the extra mile and
rigging up a test environment - it's all very reassuring (provided we don't
switch everything on at once, of course!). However, I think I'm going to err
on the side of caution and stick with the  "revised" plan for sockets/wiring,
which results in the odd Beeb/monitor being lost here and there.

I've noted Rob's concerns and will discretely enquire exactly what else is on
the same ring as the sockets in the lobby.

P.S. Less than 20 tickets left now! :-O
