That's why I love Azumi. No mains? Just use the battery - it'll run up 
to 7 hours. Okay, no internet but I went seven and a half years, a few 
hours is no big deal in comparison! :-)

The electricity over here is pretty reliable, but when it goes it tends 
to go for a while. As we're the end of a strung three-phase marching 
across the field, we never know if it is "just us" or everybody. The way 
this place is wired, you can't easily tell either.

Remember a few years ago when some bridge in Germany plunged half of 
western Europe into darkness? Well, half of western Europe EXCEPT the 
next town over... though they must have been on a big gennie or 
something as it seemed everything else was off too...
