The Acorn-recommended cable was too thick to make two reliable
connections in the Krone IDC connectors, which is why they recommended
stripping the insulation and 'tonking' (I like that word!) the bare
uncut cable.

I found that Cat5 UTP cable works fine for Econet, and as it's the
correct size for the Krone IDCs, is fine with being cut-and-tonked (both
at once with the right tool).
