Would the image be scalable to, say, MODE 2? Or if resolution is 
required, could it be done in MODE 0 as a monochromatic?

I wonder if an extended Beeb or a Master would have enough RAM to hold 
the data tables, for how pointlessly sweet would it be to code a version 
of this to run on the actual hardware itself. ;-)
