Subject: DDRC Boot Sale

There are some Radio Amateurs on the list, and I'm sure they knew what
it was! ( I did!), maybe more people will sign-up next year then!

@... didn't offend me! Didn't got this year, but it's always a good
rally, as like most of the Radio Rallies in the UK, but DDRC is one of
the best! As you have to book in advance for a place to sell! And I
travel to the events across the UK! (located in the North East
Yorkshire)

To be fair the original message did sound as though we should all know
what DDRC is (Deaf & Dum Rockers Convention maybe ?) and as if it should
be local to most of us. The subsequent reaction was perhaps a bit harsh
but perhaps in future it would be good to remember that we are a widely
dispersed membership, some not even in the UK so perhaps a little more
information in such posts such as the full name of the event and where
geographically it is might prove useful to the rest of us that haven't a
clue what your talking about.
