Yes, there are many Radio Rallies throughout the year, many hosted by
Radio Societies up and down the UK, many Radio Enthusiasts used a lot of
BBC Micros for various databases, Packet, like everything, most have
PCs, and Laptops these days.

Some hang-out here http://www.vintage-radio.net/

Also check out the RSGB (Radio Society of Great Britain), not to be
confused with the RSPB!

http://www.rsgb.org/events/index.php

list of events, that have been notified by Radio Societies. We often
attend to have a chat with fellow like minded bearded Radio Amateurs!
(and we all want a bargain!). So prices are reasonable, and we like to
trade!

Andrew

OK, point taken - thanks Andrew. Should have defined DDRC :-)

I think the DDRC sale is pretty unique, in that the vast majority of
traders are just normal people off the street selling their
radio/computer-related junk, with very few dealers stalls. Usually
it's the other way round. Are there other radio "boot sale" events
like this?
