Hewitt in the video probably helped. ;-) Heard of Coldplay. Wish I'd 
never heard of Umburella-ella-ella-ella (Rihanna).

Think I'm being bitchy about #8? She's three times in the top 40...

Of the, lot, I can name you songs by three of them:
   Katy Perry - I Kissed A Girl
   Enrique - Hero
   Rihanna - I *hate* that song!
and side mention for the one by Chris Brown with all the stop-motion 
lights and the changing colours of his shirt. Don't remember the title.

Of the entire top 40, I recognise the following songs:
   None.
   Not a one.
