I didn't find your suggestions, but I did find an add-on that did much 
the same thing *and* reverted to the home screen after a period of 
inactivity. Sweet.


Didn't have time to set up NoScript, but I put on AdBlockPlus and 
altered the config to *not* remember passwords (ever), never remember 
history, and keep cookies only for the session.


Sadly the computer running it is in a sealed fancy enclosure, and after 
a brief power cut in windy weather... it's a black screen. The piece of 
<meeeep!> doesn't boot itself on power-up. What, did they buy this thing 
from PoundLand or something?!?
