Subject: Beeb to HDMI unit

In case anyone else is on the lookout for hardware to upscale a Beeb's 
output to a modern display ... Maplin (purveyor of radio-controlled cars 
and cheap disco lights) have a sale on their SCART-to-HDMI convertors:

It's 40 quid, reduced from 80.

According to the box specs, it supports the RGB pins on the SCART 
socket, which means you should be able to use the RGB-out on the Beeb 
for the best video quality.

Not bought one yet, though. YMMV.
