I don't believe it.

How do you *know* the mixture is *only* attacking the bromine, and not 
having other effects as well?

No-one has explained what gives the plastic its original 
(pre-yellowing) colour - this must be some kind of dye, and how do we 
know that this is not also being attacked by the peroxide?

I still think this mixture is just whitening the plastic, not 
restoring the original colour.

I reference the YouTube video, where the bloke ended up with a white 
Nintendo instead of an original-colour grey one.
