Subject: Basics - saving files onto disk

>> How do I save a file onto a 3.5" (dual density) floppy? I tried using
'SAVE "filename"' but I got the message 'Sector not found at 00/00' - is
it trying to find a tape?

Marc, did you get the mail I sent you, about having a read of the Watford
manual? I didn?t mean to be rude, but I supply them for a reason, and it?s
all in there.
For reference, yes you need to format the disc:
*FORM80 0
Then answer the options, usually No to double density and 62 file, but you
can use them if you want to increase the storage capacity of the disc.
Once formatted, you can then save to it, as you?ve been trying.
Mark. (RetroClinic)
