Subject: On the search for a manual

All,

As a reminder, Caretaker was a "toolkit" ROM that was released in 1984 I
think around the same time as the better known Tookit from Beebugsoft.

Hope this clarifies things,

Paul

Doctor and some other sector editor/search programs do not work reliably.?
I assume that they are using OSWORD 7F and there is an incompatibility somewhere.?
Anyway, I took the Beebug Discmaster Sector Editor and have modifed it to
work quite well with this interface.? While I was at it, I have added a
few extra features, such as string searching across all disc surfaces (0-511),
wildcard search and byte pattern search.? It should be very easy to modify
to work with other interfaces as it is a hybrid BASIC/Assembler program.
