AARGH, I had managed to burn his image out of my mind.

Okay. Some more:

   * Fawning over money in a way that would be seen offensive
     now...
   *   Dallas
   *   Dynasty
   * "I liked it so much I bought the company"
   * Shoulder pads - and how! Some were near glam-rock proportions.
   * MTV
   * Audi Quattro
   * Neon coloured clothing, moreso if Lisa Frank stuff.
   * The Valley Girl.
   * Sweaters were cool.
   * Vampires oozed cool (The Lost Boys).
   * The rubik's cube - about the strangest nerdiest toy ever made,
     an idea so simple yet soooo frustrating!
   * The Berlin Wall, so yesterday.
   * John Hughes.
   * Garbage Pail Kids (for those fed up with Cabbage Patch Kids).
   * The ultimate DEFINING accept-no-substitutes version of Pac-Man.
   * Full House.
   * Hungry Hippos.

   * End of lunch break, the school was deserted as EVERYBODY went
     to watch the new programme "Neighbours". I didn't understand
     why (and still don't).
   * We BEGGED teachers to let us out of final lesson on Saturday so
     we could go watch The Chart Show.
   * FRAGGLE! ROCK!

Funny thing is, except for My So-Called Life, Buffy, and Alyson
Hannigan, I'm not sure I could make a list like this for the '90s...

Best wishes,

Rick.
