My 'good' one is close to that, but has had the regulators bypassed at some
point (certainly not uncommon, although it lacks the official Acorn sticker
on the back to say "Don't stick 8V in here" :-) I *think* I've got one of
the blue boxes for it, too.

Any chance of some pictures sometime? I've seen machines that were built
from kits, but never the kit itself - it'd be interesting to see how they
packaged things.

(Actually, this question arose on classiccmp and you may know - did kit
machines come with a serial number sticker? I suspect not, but it's hard to
tell for sure as they fall off quite easily, people remove them when
cleaning the case etc.)

It's definitely 'valuable' in an historical sense, but on the other hand
museums are generally very pushed for space, so I suspect it may well spend
almost all of its life hidden from view. On the third hand, if it's in a
private collection, that might be even worse! :-)

cheers
