I agree with Mark McDougall, I doubt there is a common one for your own 
executables and scripts. As you know, Microsoft usually has a folder for 
user documents and settings, and subfolders for pictures, music, video etc. 
Some programs add their own folders in that structure. However I've never 
seen a folder named "My Programs" or "My Scripts", which suggests to me that 
users of MS Windows systems usually are not supposed to develop any own 
software in the first place. Of course software you download and install end 
up in C:\Program Files or similar folder, and I suppose you could create 
your own J_G_Harston folder there to keep your custom programs inside, but 
it would not follow any convention.
