The original MOS Technology data sheets say 3 clock periods, except of
course for the indexed variants that take longer (4 or 6 cycles), as do
certain other zero-page instructions (ASL, LSR, ROL, ROR, INC, DEC all
take 5).  Ditto in the original (but later dated) Rockwell data sheets.
