I used my machines to resurrect my 1980s viewdata BBS a year or so
back. Half a dozen Beebs linked via Econet to an A5000 running as
fileserver.  Period Magic Modems and a terminal server offered dial-up
or internet access.  Unfortunately, unreliable machines and not enough
time to fix them, followed by a need to pack it all back up again to
let builders in, means it's been offline more than online, and off
completely for the last few months.   Maybe in the new year, once
they've finished things off..

Obviously for this use, condition is unimportant - nobody is going to
be sat at them!  I'd be happy to take any econet-enabled machines off
your hands, or give assistance in setting up a similar system if your
or anybody else wants to have a go.
