I tried this on an issue 4 model B, with the RGB connection sent via
an Extron DVS 204 to a 19" LCD monitor using VGA input, and on a Master
128 with RGB connection sent via a GBS-8200 to a 17" LCD monitor using
VGA input.

In both cases I got a solid white screen.

I wonder if there's something about the composite output vs RGB...
