They also need to have the courtesy to at least acknowledge offers of help.

I sent them a message on monday morning offering help but haven?t heard 
from them. I would have at least expected a message by the following day
saying something like thank you for your interest we will be contacting people
who have offered to help in the next couple of weeks.

So far nothing at all.
