That seems to clarify (though implicitly) that there's no connection 
between the NS320xx series and the TMS320xx series other than the 
naming, the retargetting of the NS320xx to DSP purposes, the TI 
second-sourcing of the NS320xx, the takeover of NS by TI, the CPU 
structure and instruction set similarity. No wonder I ended up going 
down so many similar-looking twisty mazes of passageways.
