Subject: BBC Master not 'seeing' SCSI Host Adapter

Hi, you said your CMOS was reset, did you remember to setup ADFS to use the
hard disk (*CONF. HARD)

Just something to try before breaking out the tools.

IC15...? Do you have a scope? Can you check whether /EXFC is going low when
you're accessing that address?

Hi Guys

I've recently moved house so have just got around to connecting my BBC
Master.? Had to change the CMOS battery but once done it fired up.

However when I came to connect my SCSI Hard Drive it could not be accessed
as every time I performed a *MOU.0 it accessed the floppy drive.

Suspecting the Host Adapter I changed it using several spares but each one
didn't work.? Thinking they can't all be faulty I now suspected the 1MHz
bus.? I then performed the following command - PRINT ~?&FC41.? It should
return &00 but gave &FF.

I thus thought that the 1MHz bus was faulty so connected my HCR Electronics
Eprom blower and was able to read an EPROM with the correct checksum.

I suspect that Page &FC is not being selected but I'm puzzled as to what to
look for next.

Any ideas and suggestions would be appreciated.
