CJE are reselling an adaptor that you can get for about ?20-?25 at an
extortionate mark-up. I believe John K had got somewhere with taking a
direct digital output, however it's not actually trivial to do :-/

Sprow does an ethernet module that fits in the econet socket on a Master.

If you don't want to splash out on a DataCentre, there're perfectly
functional SD based solutions that run in at about ?10 including an eprom.

I can?t stand Facebook and would far rather keep up with a list like

another thread.

Does anyone know if it?s possible to buy a ?future proofed? BBC Model B.
I know Retroclinic have sorted the problem of magnetic media with CFHD and
transfer with Datacentre but has anyone built in an HDMI port. The
closest I?ve seen is the CJE Micros SCART-HDMI box with a standard RGB to
SCART. Works well enough but wouldn?t it be nice to see an HDMI port on
the back of the beeb?

Are there any other things in a Model B that need future proofing? Sound
through HDMI for instance? An Ethernet port instead of Econet would be
good too.

Cheers

The more technically active community is on the StarDot forum. There're
generally a number of things in development and threads don't get lost like
they do on Facebook...

I like mailing lists, and mails which drop in your Inbox!

It's all a bit quiet for these mailing lists these days, Facebook groups
are taking over. However, my feeling is we have a hard-core bunch of
specialists on this list and it still has plenty of value.

Couldn't agree more.
