Trever, the Commodore 128 runs CP/M Plus (aka CP/M 3.0).  If you 
have a manual for your 128, it includes a coupon that when sent 
in to DRI (Digital Research Inc.) along with a check for $19.95, 
will get you manual for CP/M Plus.  If you do not have the 
manual, I can send you a copy of the coupon which works equally 
well.  Send SASE and mention what it is for.
    
In regards to a full K & R C compiler:

all the features of the MIX C compiler and the MIX Editor.  If

To the best of my knowledge there is no ANSI compatible C 
compiler for CP/M.
