BBCBasic(65), (32) and (ARM) use: ...... but BBCBasic(86) and (80) use: ......<00> You need to use a utility to convert between the formats. There's my !BasConv on Arcade BBS [File Area 53 (Apps) name: BasConv], also accessible by internet at weekends. I've also got some half-working command-line utilities to do the same on BBCBasic(86),(80),(65),(32) and (ARM). I'll try and get around to fixing them and posting them somewhere. You use them something like: FConv BBC:name -to DOS:name -- J.G.Harston (JGH BBC PD Library) 70 Camm Street, Walkley, SHEFFIELD S6 3TR jgh@arcade.demon.co.uk - Running on BBCs & Masters with SJ MDFS FileServer Z80+6502/CoPro+Tubes/Econet+SJ -- http://www.libdems.force9.co.uk/usr/jgh/ On the way home my operating system crashed, until a passer-by pressed my Ctrl-Alt-Delete keys... --- ARCbbs RISC OS [1.64á32c] * Origin: Via The Arcade BBS Usenet News Gateway +44 181 655 4412 (2:254/27)
