CMOS location 17 holds the following:

  b0   - *Config. NoSpace/Space
  b1   - *Opt 5,n
  b2-3 - *Opt 6,n
  b4-5 - *Opt 7,n
  b6-7 - *Opt 8,n

They have the following effects:

*Config. NoSpace   - Page &0E/&0F not reserved for transient command
*Config. Space     - Page &0E/&0F reserved for transient command

*Opt 5,0           - *FindLib not run
*Opt 5,1           - *FindLib run after *I AM

*Opt 6,0, *Opt 6,2 - NFS workspace in page &0B/&0C
*Opt 6,1, *Opt 6,3 - NFS workspace in private workspace, raising PAGE

*Opt 7,n           - Unallocated

*Opt 8,0, *Opt 8,2 - Machine unprotected on RESET
*Opt 8,1, *Opt 8,3 - Machine protected on RESET

*Opt 8,0, *Opt 8,1 - Programs display version strings
*Opt 8,2, *Opt 8,3 - Programs don't display version strings
