Not quite. Project 2000 is a very large effort to find out what will crash and what will not. I work at Longbenton in Newcastle for Sema Group and know a little about what is going on. What is proposed is that (at longbenton at least) people will be trained up to put a floppy disk onto the computer, load windoze, go to File, click on Run and type "a:\test.exe" to find out if the PC's are millenium compilant. There is no progamming. just a matter of the big bosses saying "we keep those PC's and throw those away" What the banks and other buisnesses are doing on the other hand is another matter.
