Brandy Basic is a BBC BASIC V interpreter in GPLed portable C source written by Dave Daniels. Brandy is distributed under version 2 of the GNU General Public License. It compiles and runs on a variety of platforms and operating systems.

Brandy has been compiled and run on RISC OS, NetBSD, OpenBSD, FreeBSD, Linux, Mac OS X, Amiga OS, DOS using the DJGPP DOS extender, Windows as a console application, and Windows CE. The program is written in ANSI C and comes in source form so it should not be difficult to compile it to run under other operating systems.
