PDPTube for DOS/Windows comes with PDP11 BBC BASIC bundled with it.
The first time PDPTube is run it extracts BASIC to its own application
directory. This means that the first time it is run you need to run it
with appropriate access permissions to be able to write to the
application directory.
You should have your Windows system set up so that you cannot
write to applicaton directories as a normal user. So, the first time
you run PDPTube you need to be logged on as an admin user so that it
can extract the embedded BASIC code. Once it has done this PDPTube
can be run as a standard user.
