Subject: Can I get BASIC going without BCD implementation?

I forgot that my other posts were at the weekend - whoops! No wonder I
never got a reply!

I now (at last) have "BASIC" coming up on the screen followed by three LF
codes and then my emulator conks out. I have a sinking feeling that this
could be because I have not implemented binary-coded decimal arithmetic.

Has anyone got a method of doing this (in assembler please) and do I have
to get it going before I can get any further?

Ta,
