If you copyright a piece of hardware that would stop you copying the
hardware - making a simulation of it is something completely different
- you have copied nothing (well the ROMs are a different matter - but
the machine is not a copy).

They no longer supply an emulator with the RiscPC so there is no
conflict there - and you could always ask him how that
policy corresponds with their sale of a PC emulator.
