I am just curious about your mail daemon Chris, like exactly how it
works!  I was wondering if your mail daemon could look at the subject
line before it sends out the article to everyone???  If you can and you
can mangle the subject line before it goes out, could you insert the
following rule into your mail daemon.

  If subject does not contain BBC-L then
    insert BBC-L: in front of subject line
  If subject does contain BBC-L but it is not at the front then
    move BBC-L: to the front of the subject line

In other words, I am asking you (and everyone) which you think is better

  subject: BBC-L: the topic of the day...
  subject: the topic of the day...
