Hmm - Perhaps its worth trying to just test the upper 20K by
going into mode 0 or something and seeing if you can see any dots
on when the screen should be blank and then try filling it
with 1's (COLOUR 129 <ret> COLOUR 0 <ret> CLS <ret> ) and see if there
are any which are off.

Its going to be more hastle testing the low ram.
Are you sure its the RAM - I mean perhaps something get upset 
at running in a (high?) graphics mode or something.
