Good that you and and Gary Mccallum know what rfc stands for. But this
file is the basis of most if not all netiquettes. There is no need to
follow etiquette as it is not mandatory, neither in netlife nor real
life. It is not a law! But so what? Saying you choose to ignore it is
saying you choose to be rude. Fine, I for one will simply toss your
messages in the bin. Goodbye!

As to 'standard'. This is the basis of netiquettes around the world.
That it is an rfc is not important.

Note that I generally do not mind top posting or non-snipping of
irrelevant stuff, and do not comment on it, but if people insist that
this is good practice, they need to be set right in their ideas.

I thought my post needed no further replies but there you go anyway. You
choose to show not to have thought about the rfc and the reasons
provided. Why?

Never mind, I don't want the know the answer, there's no point.
