I bought a Master and a Hornby Zero-1 controller specifically for the
purpose of connecting them together and using them to run my model train
layout (which is still under construction).  So far I haven't done
anything about it.  I've got some technical documentation for the Zero-1,
but my electronics knowledge is limited so progress is very slow.  The
Zero-1 stuff can be obtained quite cheaply these days (it's obsolete) so
it's quite cost effective.

So basically, I can't help you much, but I thought you might be interested
to know that there's another like-minded soul out here :-)
