Subject: Wanted: Old Acorn Hardware

Hi All,

Just a quick request for any old Acorn hardware that people may
have lying around.

I am going to be running an introduction to programming course for a local
community group, and am trying to get together as much hardware as possible
for the students to work on.

Old Acorn hardware (e.g. BBC B, BBC Master, A310, A440 etc.) seems ideal
for the task as BBC BASIC makes an ideal starting language for beginners.

I am donating my time to this free of charge, and am hoping to get the
hardware on a similar basis. 

The group is prepared to pay if necessary, but is severely limited in the
amount they can afford.

If you can help, please e-mail me.

I am prepared to come and collect stuff within a reasonable distance of
Surrey, or pay postage if the distance is too far.

P.S. I am also looking for a host adapter to link the BBC 1Mhz bus
to the Adaptec ACB-4000 HD interface. If anyone knows where one of these
can be found, please let me know.
