Subject: BBC disk drives

Thanks for your help everyone, I've sorted it out now.... The drive I
was using was from an old Motorola MVME16 machine, and needed a
sprinkling of random jumpers put into it :)

The rest of the problems were caused by my lack of knowledge of BBC
disks..... I had (and still do) a tape only electron...

I eventually found the Welcome disk on the nvg.unit.no site (thanks
for offering though Chris)...

What was the actual advantage of the 1770 anyway?

Oh well, thats probably everything from me for now... until I get my
SJ Fileserver next month!!
