Subject: SASI cards

Hi,
I had one of the SASI cards on my model B.
It was actually one I had built from PCBs made by a friend who had come
accross the PCB foils from somewhere.

That board was 1MHz bus <-> SASI.
The Adaptec boards of which people are talking were ST506 to SASI.
A Syquest removable SCSI (possibly SASI) drive worked fine plugged
into the board I had (no Adaptec card needed of course!).

All the magic to control it was hidden in the ADFS - amazing what
was lurking there!

I sent the board to someone earlier this year; with the promise of some
money - I haven't seen the money yet. If the person is reading this, it
would be nice to see a cheque!!!
