As I remember when experimenting with this, you need a single density
controller in order to read BBC DFS 40 & 80 track disks. You need to get an
XT disk controller card, and modify it slightly, since such cards don't
read SD disks by default.
If anyone's interested, I can dig out the modification you have to make.
If does actually work; I could read BBC disks on my P200 based PC...
