The BBC domesday laser disc could play video discs on its own by just connecting
to a tv and hitting play or
could be linked to a BBC or master you need VFS rom and a scsi card. If you
look at the back you will notice
that the unit has a scsi port plus other control connectors I think a Rs232
socket.
I saw one of these in summer but sadly the person who had this had no controler
rom or doomsday discs.
Try linking it up to a scsi card of any variety (PC or back of a Machintosh)
to see if it still works
