A call to &FFF1 with A% set to &70 returns the follwing block

0 Master Sequence Number
1 Status byte b7 Tube present
  b6 Tube claimed by ADFS
  b5 Winchester controller present
  b4 n/u
  b3 n/u
  b2 *OPT 1 flag
  b1 Bad Free Space Map
  b0 IRQ pending

Can anyone tell me
a) what the Master Sequence Number is
b) Under what circumstances would the ADFS claim the TUBE
c) what is *OPT 1
