Hi
I have exactly the same problem on one of my disk drives, which happens to
be the same model.  THe problem seems to be a dicky head load solenoid, if
you open it up and have a look, you'll find that tapping the arm of the
solenoid will make it go down when the drive is accessed, but after you
leave it for a while, it will stop engaging again.  I've not yet solved
this, but I think a replacement would be ok, I've not managed to find one
though!
