Subject: buying old bbcs

Hi everyone,

Not strictly an emulator question - but I thought I'd give it a go anyway.
Sorry if this clogs your mailboxes.  I need to buy three or four bbcs
(model B is fine) for a college bet/project (building a high-speed fibre
optic network for BBCs) - what's the best place to get them from these
days?  Are schools still selling them off?  Or have they all completely
moved over to Arcs and Macs and PCs?  And are there any companies that
sell bits (ie transformers or power packs and other units that might need
refurbishment) in case they aren't perfect?  And, finally, what kind of
price can I expect to pay?
