Subject: 2mb Sideways ram!

I have just recieved a BBC which is broke, BUT it has a two meg sideways ram
board in it! How do I go about salvaging this? It has a bunch of other roms
aswell, what is the best way to remove them??

When I say broke, I mean that when it is turned on it says that it has the
2meg upgrade, but nothing else!! Could I just replace a chip, or would it be
better to remove the board and place it in one of my other BBCs??
