Yes, Terminal on the Master is ANSI VT100 capable, but it has no up- or
download facilities. It's just a Text Terminal.
Others I've come across are ATerm, JTerm, Tequila and Wild. The only one
I've managed to download and extract is Tequila, but this seems more like
a graphics demo than a proper application. You run it and you get lots of
dancing graphics cavorting over the screen.
When I get around to it I'm going to upload XTerm to Arcade, put it
somewhere downtree of http://mdfs.net/ - my site is still /VERY/ much a
contruction site at the moment.
XTerm is a monochrome ANSI terminal with XYModem file transfer, extended
serial buffering and full pc8 font.
It also forms a part of an automated mail preparation send and fetch
system that I have been using daily for over 18 months now to get my mail
from Arcade BBS.
