Subject: Use of AnaDisk, BBC Xfer Crashing, Items WANTED

Dear Reader,

I have recently been using Anadisk to Dump 'raw' images of BBC DFS Disks to
my PC's Hard Drive. BBC Explorer and Beebem are both able to read the disk
catalogue but further information seems to be garbled. I take it this is
just a case of converting the disk image to a more usable format by these
programs. I would appreciate it if someone could tell me how I can make
these images usable (I have already tried some utilities from the BBC Lives
site). Also, BBCXfer successfgully transfers software to the Beeb but the PC
side always crashes immediately on load. Anyone else experienced this? I'm
sure my serial cable is OK. Thanks.
