Subject: PLEASE HELP URGENTLY

Hi....
Maybe i can be cheeky and ask you to help me... i work in a school and
have been asked to look in every BBC on site for a speech chip...they
have kindly narrowed it down and told me they didn't ever have one in a
BBC master...can u at all help me to identify such a chip and possibly
answer one quick question...
            What is DFS?   this chip appears in most of our BBC's but
not all...    
                    I really would appreciate your help thank you...
