Subject: Copying files on BBC discs on a PC

Hi folks,

Well, I finally got my old BBC out of the cupboard and setup again.

Sadly, the discs haven't fared so well in their storage and some of
them are now getting loads of disc faults :-(  So I'm keen to get
a copy of everything so I can at least have some kind of backup.

I've setup a 5 1/4" drive on my PC, which seems to work fine
under Windows (had some old MS software discs that read ok),
but I cant get any of the programs that read BBC discs to work.

All I seem to get are disc faults on BBC discs that I know work.

I'm planning on getting a serial lead anyhow, but any advice/tips
on getting this to work would be gratefully received.
